Keeping Water Cold

I had a quick tip on keeping water cold. Filter/Purify your water in the morning when it's the coolest, or boil in the evening and let it cool overnight. In the morning wrap one of the water bottles, more if you want to, in some clear plastic bubble wrap. The small/tiny bubble wrap frequently comes with new glass items you purchase and is sometimes in the giftwrap area of the local store. Use/take just enough for one or two wraps around the bottle and fold the ends over to enclose it. Wrap in mylar, or place in (the top of) your pack. Keeps it cold for several hours, longer with two wraps then one. It might look weird - but it works, and for a couple ounces of weight - is worth it.
