(High Sierra Line)

I had planned. I have reservations that I am trying to sell for a X-country ski trip to Lake Ostrander Hut, in Yosemite. The reservations are for 3/1 & 3/2- two persons, 2 nights and cost me $80. The ski trip begins at Badger Pass and requires 9 miles of x-country skiing in pristine backcountry to a hut. As you may know, the hut is available only by lottery since demand is high. I am disappointed that I cannot go but I must finish my doctoral dissertation by May and time is running short. I would be willing to make you a deal if you are free and interested- be a shame to see them wasted. Give me a call @ 805/242-1247 or e-mail me at if you are interested. Cheers, Debra

I am looking to buy cross country ski boots but I have a large foot, size 13-14 double E width. Do you know of any companies that make large sizes or that might make a customized pair? Thank you.

Parabolic skis are lots of work! I recently tried a pair of Fischer Vision parabolic skis with the crown base. They were more stable than my Fisher E99's, but they have a lot of drag. Have other skiers found the same thing?
